Over the years, Shinn Technology Services Corporation has become a trusted expert in just about all technology systems a small business would use. We are a business consultant that excels in technology design and support. We offer two service levels

Standard time and materials
Please see our rate schedule below. Standard business hours support is available on an as needed basis during normal business hours of 8am to 5pm EST, Monday through Friday.

Retained / Maintenance Programs
Many of our clients prefer a retainer / maintenance based package. This is a customized package for specific services, workstation maintenance routines, expanded hours of support and more dynamic response times. These packages also have a fixed rate to help you plan your monthly budget.
  • Install, maintain and repair Windows based workstations
  • Support for: multi function units, printers, projection displays, etc.
  • Support for all industry standard application software
  • Data backup and disaster recovery planning
  • Virus and malware removal
  • Office and home wireless router installation & security evaluation
  • iPhone support (Setup, Exchange, Outlook & sync issues)
  • Computer data recovery and rebuild as a result of a virus / malware

  • Independent Advisor and Installation for SimpliSafe Home Security

  • Design specs and quote entire office network / workstation systems
  • Consult on office infrastructure: network, phone, video, sound system cabling & wired / wireless router units
  • Consult on phone (standard / VoIP), video, sound, and alarm systems
  • Install and maintain Windows based servers and support equipment

General Service Rates - Version: December 31, 2018
  • $35.00 onsite service call **
  • $135.00 /hr (general)
  • $150.00 /hr (network)
  • $225.00 /hr (emergency / after hours / holiday support)
General service includes: onsite services / phone support / remote connection support / consultation / project research / proposal build / web development

4 hour response to phone message from 8am to 5pm EST (Mon-Fri)
** ShinnTech will quote service call rate if outside Indianapolis area.

Normal business hours: 8am to 5pm EST (Monday through Friday)
- all other times by appointment or defined in service agreement.

Maintenance & Service Agreements / Incident Packs
  • $125.00 /hr (prepaid 6 hour incident pack) w/ 2 service calls
  • $120.00 /hr (prepaid 10 hour incident pack) w/ 3 service calls
  • $115.00 /hr (prepaid 20 hour incident pack) w/ 4 service calls
  • - onsite based on 8am - 5pm, Mon-Fri, Indianapolis zone
Service agreement accounts also receive:

- priority service response and call scheduling
- 2 hour response to phone message from 8am to 5pm EST (Mon-Fri)

paraDATA Backup- Cloud based remote backup
  • paraDATA Documents ($5 per month)
    - basic documents backup (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher)
    - Backup does not include: photos, music, videos or PST files

  • paraDATA Local Edition ($12 per month)
    - 10GB cloud storage - .85 for each additional GB
    - Cloud storage can be shared between multiple computers

  • paraDATA MSP Workstation ($29 per month)
    - 28 day File Retention
    - 100GB Selected Data
    - File/Folder/Bare Metal Restore capabilities

  • paraDATA MSP Server ($99 per month)
    - 28 day File Retention
    - 500GB Selected Data
    - File/Folder/Bare Metal Restore capabilities
    - Virtual Disaster Recovery

For clients who require a disaster recovery solution with a low RTO/RPO--- Recovery Time Objective (how long can you be down) and Recovery Point Objective (how much data can you lose), give us a call to discuss your needs and environment so we can prepare a customized quote.

NOTE: Software configuration on local computer(s) at normal hourly rate.
Microsoft Office 365

For over three years, we have been providing consultation and transition services to move clients to the Microsoft Office 365 environment.

Office 365 is a package of products to help your business with management and communication. It includes licensing for the MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Outlook), business email services using MS Exchange and many other productivity tools.

We have a personal relationship with the local Microsoft Store and business office... so you get the best local support possible from the manufacturer.
